Based in Cumbria, on the doorstep of the beautiful Lake District - I'm naturally curious, passionately inquisitive, and love getting stuck into visual storytelling projects - combining creativity, curiosity and a genuine love for the outdoors to create images that leave a lasting impression.

Photography began as a creative outlet and a way to explore the the outside world, but over time it became something more. What started with a camera and a curiosity for the outdoors developed into an interest for documenting the people, places and experiences that make every story unique.

My professional background is in communications and design, where I've spent years helping organisations connect with their audiences through visual content and storytelling. That experience has shaped the way I approach photography today. For me, creating a strong image isn't just about composition or technical perfection—it's about creating a connection, communicating a feeling and giving people a reason to engage with what they're seeing.

Much of my work is inspired by the outdoors. Whether I'm exploring mountain trails, photographing festivals, documenting events or capturing everyday moments, I'm always looking for the stories that exist beyond the obvious. I enjoy finding the details that are often overlooked and creating imagery that feels authentic, natural and meaningful.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me climbing or exploring the landscapes of Cumbria with my two cocker spaniels, Ralph and Olive. These experiences continue to shape both my perspective and my work, helping me develop a deeper appreciation for the people, places and environments I photograph.
